Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, develops and implements stock control, handling and distribution policies to maximise use of space, money, labour and other resources;
  • Advises purchasing department on type, quality and quantity of goods required and dates by which they must be available; 
  • Liaises with production, maintenance, sales and other departments to determine the materials and other items required for current and future production schedules and sales commitments;
  • Prepares reports on expenditure and advises on materials and quality standardisation, future stores and stock control policies
  • In charge of daily warehouse operations to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Oversees daily stock inventories, sales and dispatches. 
  • Aims to maximize storage without affecting sales and minimize costs. Ensures accurate documentation of all orders processing, dispatches and readiness for pickup.
  •  Manages inventory levels and places stock orders to maintain product availability.
  • Generates weekly and monthly reports on sales and stock.
  •  Handles health and safety issues ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Manages documentation, transportation and shipment. Maintains positive relationships with logistics partners, suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Decides on storage conditions for particular items, allocates warehouse space and arranges for regular stock inspections to detect deterioration or damage



Person specification:

  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience as Warehouse Manager in Wholesale and retail industry required.
  •  Demonstrated experience in leading a team.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, proficient in using technology. Familiarity with finance, budgeting, and accounting practices.
  •  Expertise in inventory management and control.
  • Proactive leadership style, ability to drive team to achieve results.
  •  Fluent in English and proficiency in Asian languages such as Urdu, Punjabi, and Mirpuri to communicate with customers.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
